Llandrindod High School’s legendary Christmas Charity Week kicked off with Bake Off – staff baking delicious Christmas cakes which were raffled afterwards. Pupils had the chance to match the baker to the cake and win a fabulous hamper of chocolate. Other competitions during the week included staff basketball and karaoke. Pupils in Year 10 made and sold Christmas cards and all contributed for non-uniform day. Highlight of the week was the chance to sponge the Acting Headteacher (Ms G Crook, pictured) and the donations rolled in for this one! Altogether over £1300 has been raised to share between Hope House Hospice and Wales Air Ambulance. A huge thank you to all pupils, staff and parents who contributed.
